Quick answer: start with aperitivo, move into a Puglian Italian dinner, then stay for drinks. Zia Tina and Bonito now sit inside the same building, KLEO Hotel Seminyak. One address covers cocktails, pasta, pizza, and fresh seafood, all a short walk apart.
Seminyak has too many “best of” lists to read before dinner. You don’t need all of them. You need one evening that works, start to finish.
Two aperitivo hours run out of the same building.
At Il Nipote Bar, Zia Tina’s bar, it’s buy one get one free cocktails, daily from 4 to 6 PM.
Upstairs, Bonito runs aperitivo daily from 5 to 7 PM: fresh oysters at IDR 12,000 each, wine by the glass at IDR 80,000++, plus complimentary bites.
Start at either one. Walk to the other after.
Zia Tina’s menu is Southern Italian, rooted in Puglia. Handmade pasta, crisp pizza, burrata, antipasti platters, and mains like grilled lamb and octopus. Save room for gelato or tiramisu.
Zia Tina holds a Gambero Rosso 1 Forchetta rating in the 2026 Top Italian Restaurants guide, and won Best Italian Restaurant in Bali at the Exquisite Awards 2025.
Bonito just moved from Umalas to the open-air rooftop at KLEO Seminyak. Same kitchen, same team, new view over the coastline. Open daily for dinner, 5 to 11 PM.
Signature dishes include Bottoni Cacio e Pepe, Gnocchetti al Ragù, and Chicken Yakitori. Bonito is Zia Tina’s sister restaurant, founded by Chef Maurizio Bombini, who also grew up on Puglia’s seafood traditions. (bonito-restaurant.com)
